Manager/Supervisor

BASIC: Responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and overhaul of heavy machinery equipment and fleet vehicles (tractor/trailer). Must be capable of performing full engine rebuilds and supporting operational leadership with limited foreman responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul heavy-duty equipment and fleet vehicles (tractor/trailer).
Perform full engine rebuilds and major component repairs.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
Maintain equipment according to DOT and manufacturer standards.
Complete daily maintenance and repair logs accurately and timely.
Test heavy machinery and trucks to diagnose malfunctions and confirm proper operation.
Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Provide guidance, training, and limited supervision to mechanics or helpers as needed.
Assist foremen and operations in planning and prioritizing maintenance schedules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
